This project is a Council of Polish Organisations in the ACT Inc. initiative as a community service for all Australians.
It celebrates the 200th anniversary of the birth of Fryderyk Chopin Poland’s famous composer of piano music. The purpose of the project is to promote Chopin, Poland and the culture of its Polish citizens to Australia.
The Council of Polish Organisations in the ACT Inc gratefully acknowledges the Celebrations Office Chopin 2010, Poland for the use of their logo & the Embassy of the Republic of Poland in Canberra.
This project was made possible by the financial support of the ACT Government’s Multicultural Grants Program 2009-10, the Polish Ex-Servicemen’s Association in Australia, the Gen. J. Kleeberg Perpetual Fund of the Polish Community Council of Australia, the Polish Women’s Association in Canberra, the Polish Seniors Club of the ACT Inc., the Polish-Australian White Eagle Club, the Australia Poland Business Council Inc. including donations from individual members of the Polish community in Canberra.
